Who signed on to New Yorkers for Parks' policies?
81 out of 101 candidates for office proudly took the Parks1 Pledge.
Scores of these hopefuls won, including the Borough Presidents of Manhattan and Queens, the city's Public Advocate and most notably, forty out of fifty-one Council Members signed on to work towards making our Parks #1 in the Nation.
This pro-parks caucus represents 80% of city legislators... but really they are merely agreeing with you - the 30,000 New Yorkers who cared enough this summer to call for major commitment to our parks. Thanks to you, they care too.
And New Yorkers For Parks will not rest until our parks are where they should be: Cleaner, greener, safer.
