Community Design

As an advocacy organization, New Yorkers for Parks believes in the importance of community-driven design of parks, gardens and open space. Part of NY4P’s mission is to provide professional design assistance to community open space and landscape design projects through our Community Design program.

NY4P provides communities with a landscape architecture intern, who through a community-led process, aids in designing the renovation of parks, gardens and the creation of new open space.
